Block names interim accounting officer after Ajmere Dale resigns

Block Inc. (NYSE: SQ) announced that Chief Accounting Officer Ajmere Dale submitted his resignation effective February 26, 2026, to pursue another opportunity. Dale worked at the financial services company for nearly ten years.

Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer Amrita Ahuja will serve as interim principal accounting officer upon Dale's departure while the company conducts a search for a permanent replacement, according to a company statement.

The company filed the personnel change in a Form 8-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission, referencing Ahuja's background information from its proxy statement filed April 25, 2025.
