AppTech names Albert Lord executive chairman, adds board member

AppTech Payments Corp. (OTCQB: APCX) announced that Albert L. Lord will serve as executive chairman, expanding his previous role as board chairman. The appointment took effect May 4, according to a company statement.

Lord will collaborate with Chief Executive Officer Thomas DeRosa, who continues in his current position and reports to the full board. DeRosa said the company's business nearly tripled from the fourth quarter of 2025 to the first quarter of 2026.

The company also added Robert L. Lipstein to its board of directors. Lipstein previously worked at KPMG, where he served as Global Sarbanes-Oxley Leader. He currently serves on several other boards, including two banking companies.

AppTech entered employment contracts through 2027 with DeRosa and Chief Operating Officer Anthony Shall.

The Carlsbad, California-based company provides digital financial services through a cloud-based platform for financial institutions, corporations, small and midsized enterprises, and consumers.
