American Rare Earths appoints Jason Beckton to board

American Rare Earths (ASX: ARR | OTCQX: ARRNF | ADR: AMRRY) announced the appointment of Jason Beckton as Non-Executive Director, effective October 28, 2025. The company also disclosed that Hugh Keller resigned as Non-Executive Director on the same date.



Beckton brings over 30 years of experience in exploration, project development, and management across Australia and international markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science with honors from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Economic Geology from the University of Tasmania.



The new director has worked in the rare earth elements sector since 2012, initially in Australia's Mt. Isa district and more recently in Finland with Prospech Limited. His career began with Pancontinental and Goldfields Ltd in the early 1990s, followed by positions at Gympie Gold and leadership roles in Mexico and Chile, including managing the team that discovered the Caspiche Porphyry deposit in 2007.



Beckton currently serves as Non-Executive Director of Lode Resources Ltd (ASX: LDR) and Cipango Japan, while also advising Uvre Ltd.



Keller had served on the board since October 2024, according to the company statement.



American Rare Earths operates the Halleck Creek Project in Wyoming through its subsidiary Wyoming Rare (USA) Inc. The project contains a JORC-compliant resource of 2.63 billion tonnes across approximately 16% of the total project surface area.
