Agereh Technologies Inc. (TSXV: AUTO | OTCQB: CRBAF) announced the launch of HeadCounter™, a battery-powered wireless device designed to provide real-time data on passenger movement and congestion in transportation hubs.

The device uses artificial intelligence to count passengers, track movement patterns, and measure body temperatures simultaneously. HeadCounter™ includes thermal-pattern sensing capabilities to monitor crowd density and passenger temperatures, according to the company's statement.

The system operates on cellular networks and provides up to one year of rechargeable battery life or continuous operation when connected to power. The technology is designed for deployment in locations such as concessions, hallways, and jetways at airports and other transportation facilities.

"Transportation hubs can't manage what they can't see," said Ken Brizel, CEO of Agereh. "HeadCounter™ gives operators a real-time intelligence layer to reduce bottlenecks, deploy staff and assets more efficiently, improve passenger flow, and unlock commercial revenue opportunities—without compromising privacy."

The Edmonton, Alberta-based company stated that retail, dining, and passenger services account for 40-50% of total airport revenue, making passenger movement visibility important for operations and commercial performance.

Agereh noted that global passenger traffic has surpassed 9.5 billion travelers annually. The company has filed for patent protection on the HeadCounter™ technology and its installation method.

The device provides anonymous data collection and is designed for rapid deployment without extensive infrastructure requirements, according to the company's announcement.
