BNP Paribas Exane analyst Tom Burlton upgraded United Rentals (NYSE: URI) from Underperform to Neutral with a price target of $900.00 (from $592.00).
The analyst comments: "We take a more positive view of the equipment rental companies into late '25 and beyond. We think the next leg of United Rentals (URI) EPS upcycle will be supported by a US economy running it hot in '26, as the OBBB incentivises investment. AI/hyperscaler growth underpins a runway of mega projects, and Fed rate cuts inject life into a depressed local construction market. We upgrade URI to Neutral."
