UBS analyst Brian Meredith initiates coverage on Orion180 Insurance Group (NASDAQ: OIG) with a Buy rating and a price target of $14.00.
The analyst comments: “We initiate coverage of Orion180 (OIG) with a Buy rating and $14.00 price target, which implies upside approaching 60%. We believe Orion180 offers an attractive combination of high revenue growth, large addressable market, scalable platform and attractive fee economics. Additionally, it owns its fronting carrier, which provides flexibility if the reinsurance markets become capacity constrained. Orion180’s flexible homeowners product has already been proven, holding the #1 position in E&S homeowners insurance in several states, and is now being replicated in significantly larger markets such as Texas, Florida and California. We forecast managed premium growth of 37% and EBITDA growth of 45% over 2026-30E, supported by continued geographic expansion and operating leverage. OIG is trading at 11x adj. P/E 2027E, compared to 12x for the Commercial Lines average, 11x for Personal Lines average and 15x for Insurance Brokers average, despite a superior growth outlook.”
