UBS analyst Arpine Kocharyan reiterated a Neutral rating and $169.00 price target on Vail Resorts (NYSE: MTN).
The analyst commented, "With an overall decent Australia ski season and easier YOY comps on a two-year stack, we expect Vail to report better than implied and consensus EBITDA for the quarter. Investors have been warming up to the story based on low EBITDA expectations, easier Park City comps and cost cutting that should show FY'26 EBITDA growth YOY. Given key April deadlines for pass sales were in the middle of macro and market volatility, perhaps impacting decision making, investors expect pass unit sales to show positive momentum vs. last quarter. Also, Vail has since announced a promotion that essentially reduces pricing by 50% for Epic Friends Tickets for its 37 North American resorts for the '25-'26 ski season, with the ability to apply full cost of one redeemed Epic Friend Ticket toward an eligible '26-'27 Epic Pass."
