UBS analyst Christopher Schoell reiterated a Neutral rating and $167.00 price target on Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: EA).
The analyst commented, "EA’s Battlefield 6 launch event provided the roadmap for executing on one of the most ambitious titles in the franchise’s history. The game will release on October 10th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC at $70 for the standard edition (in-line with our expectations). We believe the feature set is tailored to reinvigorate the legacy Battlefield base (40M+ players in ecosystem) while making the game accessible, with a new free to play battle royale experience likely on the horizon. We also believe the company is positioning Battlefield 6 as a platform with a multi-year pipeline of content supporting recurring engagement and monetization."
