StoneX analyst Matthew Harrigan reiterated a Buy rating and $20.00 price target on Kyivstar Group (NASDAQ: KYIV).
The analyst commented, "We maintain a BUY rating and $20 price target for Kyivstar even as the stalemate in Ukraine turns more violent with increasing civilian casualties in Kyiv and other cities. Although it is increasingly apparent both Ukraine and Russia would hugely benefit economically from a conflict cessation given heavy damage to both Ukraine’s electrical grid and the Russian petroleum industry, Russian President Vladimir Putin is seemingly adamant on continuing the war despite current renewed U.S. efforts some would criticize as unduly friendly to the Kremlin. Given what is certain to be an extraordinarily difficult winter in Ukraine, Kyivstar management did announce yesterday that it is (in our view appropriately) postponing its Capital Markets Day from this November 17th to a to-be-announced date in 2027. Kyivstar will still “feature prominently” at VEON’s Capital Markets Day on November 16th. Importantly, there is no revision to Kyivstar’s 2026 revenue guidance for 14%-16% top line growth and 9%-12% EBITDA momentum as revised in concert with its 2Q26 earnings release. Kyivstar will report earnings pre-market on November 6th."
