RBC Capital Starts Viper Energy (VNOM) at Outperform

RBC Capital analyst TJ Schultz initiates coverage on Viper Energy (NASDAQ: VNOM) with a Outperform rating and a price target of $43.00.

The analyst commented, "VNOM’s portfolio of mineral and royalty interests in the most prolific basin in the US along with an E&P producer sponsor in Diamondback should enable the company to deliver dividend growth. Furthermore, the company’s flexible balance sheet position and experienced management team should pave the way for more third-party acquisitions that could provide upside to our estimates."
