Morgan Stanley analyst Michael Cyprys upgraded Acadian Asset Management (NYSE: AAMI) from Equalweight to Overweight with a price target of $110.00 (from $97.00).
The analyst comments: “Upgrading AAMI to Overweight from Equal-weight; raising our price target to $110 (from $97). We view AAMI as a differentiated way to play the growth of systematic investing, with its equity value directly tied to the expansion of a category gaining importance across institutional, wealth, and multi-asset channels. The key debate is whether AAMI’s recent flow acceleration reflects a cyclical funding period or a more durable shift in demand. We are increasingly in the latter camp: improving investment performance, sustained demand for Enhanced and Extension strategies, expanding distribution, optionality from systematic credit and private wealth, and a 17% AUM / 14% revenue / 18% ENI EPS growth algorithm through 2028 support a more durable outlook than the current valuation implies.”
