Mizuho analyst Vijay Rakesh reiterated an Outperform rating and a $1,100.00 price target on Lumentum (NASDAQ: LITE) ahead of earnings on 8/11/26.
The analyst commented, "We look at LITE ahead of JunQ (F4Q26) earnings on Aug. 11, and we continue to see upside. Key: 1) we believe InP demand remains strong with upside to LITE's JunQ/SepQ estimates given strong earnings outlook by InP suppliers (AXTI, Landmark, and SEI), with SepQ rev seen up >35% q/q; 2) LITE ramps with key EML InP laser performance, NPO ramps, CW/SiPho leadership supplying CW InP lasers position for upside; 3) upside to LITE >$90B TAM with industry leadership in EML, NPO (easier co-integration/deployment vs CPO), UHP lasers for CPO, OCS (MEMS) ramping we believe with GOOGL/MSFT/AMZN, post our optical industry call and a virtual call with Huber+Suhner (HUBN.SW, NC) CEO Urs Ryffel. Reiterate our Outperform rating and $1,100 PT. LITE is up ~4x since Nov'25 (SOX up ~71%), but is down ~27% (SOX down 5%) from its peak and we would be buyers into earnings with strong 2H26E momentum."
