JPMorgan analyst Sterling Auty upgraded Avalara (NYSE: AVLR) from Neutral to Overweight with a price target of $38.00.
The analyst says sales tax solutions are entering secular adoptions following the Supreme Court ruling. He says that while transaction volumes may slip a bit in the face of macro headwinds, taxes themselves are defensive.
