Dow Jones U.S. Financial Sector EFT (NYSE: IYF) is posting a solid gain of over one percent in early trading on Tuesday.
The gains come despite analysts at BofA slash earnings estimates on JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM), Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS), Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) and Citigroup (NYSE: C).
Analysts at BofA, lead by Guy Moszkowski, see headwinds out of Europe, regulatory issues at JPMorgan and others, and potential Moody's downgrades as being drags on stocks in the sector.
