H.C. Wainwright Reiterates Buy Rating on Knightscope Inc (KSCP)

H.C. Wainwright analyst Scott Buck reiterated a Buy rating and $12.00 price target on Knightscope Inc (NASDAQ: KSCP).

The analyst commented: "Last week, the company announced it has retained a buy-side investment bank to help facilitate acquisitions, which we believe is likely to become a material piece of the growth strategy near term. While the release did not establish a timetable for completing any transactions, we believe the announcement suggests a proactive posture which we believe could mean a transaction as early as this year. We believe Knightscope will seek out complementary businesses which could include adjacent technologies, access to an existing pool of potential customers, and favorable standalone financial performance. With $20.4M of cash available on the balance sheet as of 3Q25, we believe the company is positioned to complete a small transaction using its balance sheet, but is more likely to use some combination of cash and stock to best align long term interests with the target. While we believe the company is positioned to grow the business organically, the right acquisition can potentially accelerate revenue growth by helping increase security robot adoption. We believe an announced transaction is likely to be received favorably by investors. Beyond M&A, we believe more positive news flow, including new ASR contracts, should be a positive catalyst for shares during 2026 and come ahead of materially stronger operating results, which we have modeled beginning this year. We recommend investors build a position in KSCP ahead of stronger financial results. We remain Buy-rated with a $12 price target on KSCP shares."
