Gilead Sciences (NASDAQ: GILD) Harvoni TRx for the week ending Feb. 6 was 8455, up 10% week-over-week, according to RBC Capital, citing Symphony data. Harvoni NRx was 4267, up 1%. Harvoni+Sovaldi TRx was 10781, up 10%, and NRx was 5296, up 1%.
AbbVie (NYSE: ABBV) Viekira Pak TRx was 255, up 19% week-over-week, and NRx was 210, up 6%.
"IMS just announced a data delay for today, and thus we are reporting Symphony scripts first," said RBC analyst Michael J. Yee. "WK Sovaldi and Harvoni scripts have been similar to IMS data within ~10% difference."
"IMS Viekira Pak scripts have been 40-50% lower than Symphony scripts, perhaps due to a restriction on IMS Viekira Pak scripts. This early in the launch, capture rate may also vary and be uncertain," he added.
