Stifel analyst Simon Yarmak raised the price target on Diamondrock Hospitality (NASDAQ: DRH) to $13.50 (from $13.25) while maintaining a Hold rating.
The analyst comments "Encouraging Update Indicates Trends Ahead of Plan. YTD for the six months ended June 30, 2026, comparable RevPAR for DRH was up 4.8%, which compares to guidance for FY26 of up 2.5%-4.0%. On the company's 2Q earnings call, the team expressed the expectation for 3Q RevPAR to trend below 4Q levels, with the team citing lower expected group business in August. Based on an operational update provided today however, 3Q trends appear to be ahead of expectations. The presentation detailed that July & August are outperforming expectations on better group business and healthy short-term transient. Additionally, 3Q RevPAR and total RevPAR were stated to be trending up mid-single digits with growth at resorts running ahead of urban. Based on prior commentary and FY2026 guidance, we were expecting 3Q26 RevPAR growth of ~3.0%, and are encouraged by today's update."
