Bernstein analyst, Alexia Howard, expects ConAgra Foods (NYSE: CAG) to report EPS of $0.50, this Thursday before the market open. This is 2c lower than street consensus but in line with guidance. The focus will be on any updates on the spin-off of the Lamb Weston business, which is expected to occur in the fall of 2016, with two investor days prior to detail strategies/financials for ConAgra Brands/Lamb Weston. Last week, media reports suggested that Post Foods had been in talks to combine with Lamb Weston via a Reverse Morris Trust (RMT) deal, but that talks have stalled.
CMarket Perform ConAgra (NYSE: CAG) price target of $49.00
