Jefferies analyst Lloyd Byrne raised the price target on Clean Energy Fuels (NASDAQ: CLNE) to $2.50 (from $2.20) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst comments "CLNE guide to '26 EBITDA of $70-75mn, +7% y/y, noting its upstream segment hitting profitability in 2026, partially offset by weaker fuel distribution EBITDA of $68mn vs $80mn in '25. The miss on fuel distribution is driven by lower margins, reflecting impacts of contract renewals and the amount of credit value retained by CLNE. Downstream demand lift remains a wait and see, with mgmt starting to turn optimistic."
