Citi analyst Ryan Levine reiterated a Neutral rating and $5.00 price target on Fluence Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: FLNC)
The analyst comments "Negative. FLNC announced a top line beat but earnings miss in 2Q. Importantly, the company lowered FY25 guidance across the board for the second consecutive quarter, citing tariff uncertainty. EBITDA this year is now expected to be ~$10mm, in-line with our estimates. We had highlighted the possibility of tariff-related delays and cancellations eliminating EBITDA in FY25 (see note). While backlog declined Q/Q due to <1x book/bill and deferral of pending contracts, existing projects appear to have been paused not cancelled. The company secured its first contract for the new Smartstack product but provided no updates on the three delayed contracts in Australia (see note). We expect the stock to stay under pressure until the tariff situation is resolved. Anode AD/CVD is the next catalyst. Neutral."
