Bernstein SocGen Group Upgrades Toast Inc. (TOST) to Outperform

Bernstein SocGen Group analyst Harshita Rawat upgraded Toast (NYSE: TOST) to an Outperform rating and $39.00 price target.

The analyst commented: "We upgrade Toast to OP. The stock is down 26% YTD and over 34% in the last 1yr on significant de-rating within the software space, de-rating also within fintechs and some competitive concerns. We, however, view Toast as one of the highest quality names to own within the Payments sector with an unusual software ‘moat’ within the traditionally competitive restaurant payments space."
