Baird Reiterates Outperform Rating on Twist Bioscience (TWST)

Baird analyst Catherine Schulte reiterated an Outperform rating and $46.00 price target on Twist Bioscience (NASDAQ: TWST).

The analyst commented: "Mid-September TWST Express Genes Pricing Premium Tracker. We track pricing premiums for TWST’s Express Genes offering daily. September’s average “academic” premium has been ~33% month-to-date (vs. ~31% in August), while the average “industry” premium has been ~68% (consistent with ~68% in August). While we are hesitant to make any direct readthroughs to overall synthetic genes revenue or cumulative GM% performance, we believe elevated pricing premiums could be seen as thematically positive for demand.
