Gates Capital Raises Stake in Mercer Int'l (MERC) to 6.03%

In a 13G filing on Mercer International, Inc. (Nasdaq: MERC), Jeffrey L. Gates' hedge fund Gates Capital Management, Inc. disclosed a 6.03%, or 3,368,027 share, stake in the company.

This is up 49.82% from the 2,248,066 shares held at the end of the latest quarter ending March 31, 2012.
